Success Academy high schools are revolutionizing the educational experience for students in grades 9-12. We’re committed to making high school one of the most engaging and memorable experiences a student can have before college, with specialized opportunities for talent and leadership development in warm and supportive school communities. Everyone in the building, from teachers to scholars to coaches to college access and persistence counselors, are also completely focused on the end goal: not only getting all scholars into the college of their dreams, but also giving them the skills and knowledge they need to thrive and graduate in four years.
There will be two SA high schools next year: SA High School of the Liberal Arts – Bronx will continue to be co-located with HSLA-Manhattan at 111 East 33rd Street in Manhattan. In the fall of 2019-20, HSLA–Bronx will move to its permanent location in the Bronx. This winter you will indicate which school you prefer to attend. All rising 9th graders will participate in High School Placement by filling out an online preference form, ranking schools in order of preference.
You can also sign up for an open house and a presentation by HSLA–Manhattan Principal Andrew Malone or HSLA–Bronx Principal Lisa Sun to learn more about the high school design and ask questions.
